About TBP

TBP - Factory of Bowden Cables and Plastics Lenart

TBP d.d.

The beginnings of TBP d.d. date back to 1960, when the production of small metal products and metal fancy goods was organized within the framework of the then-company Klemos. Gradually, the program expanded to include the manufacturing of Bowden cables for bicycles, motorcycles, and automobiles, as well as the injection molding and extrusion of plastics. The company from Lenart mastered modern technology and new knowledge, developing into a reputable enterprise for the independent production and marketing of Bowden cables for the European automotive industry.

A qualified team of young experts, organized within the research and development process, ensures that the company can compete for the execution of demanding projects and remains a trusted development supplier and partner to automotive manufacturers.

Educated and highly qualified personnel ensure well-organized production, which is confirmed by the achieved quality standards of the European automotive industry: ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 14001.

TBP Tovarna bovdenov in plastike Lenart (abbreviated as TBP d.d.) was formed from Klemos in 1992.

Well-maintained production facilities, modern technological equipment, and qualified professional staff enable the production of 70 million Bowden cables annually. The majority of our products are placed on foreign markets in Europe and worldwide.

The business process is connected and supported by a modern information system, which gives the company appropriate flexibility in communicating with customers and suppliers. The use of the CATIA system enables the precise and rapid transfer of information, particularly in the development of new products.

TBP d.d. is connected with suppliers and subcontractors in Slovenia that integrate their products and services into the automotive industry supply chain. We cooperate with many European suppliers of semi-finished products.
